We are all spending a lot of time at home at the moment so why not buy a gift to make home even more special? Introducing our new handwoven cushion covers….
These beautiful handwoven cushion covers are created from 100% handwoven cotton in a variety of fabrics – stripe, plain and slub. The patterns are woven into the fabric using traditional handweaving techniques, in a rural co-operative creating livelihoods for marginalised workers. The cotton is sourced from local farmers and the processes used are virtually carbon free – powered by hand or solar. All workers are treated and paid fairly, as you would wish them to be.
The cushion covers are sewn by Rasikbhai, a master tailor who often sews for us via our social enterprise production partner Moral Fibre Fabrics.
You can order the cushion covers singly or as a set of 4. All will be made to order in batches of 20 – when 20 cushion covers are ordered we will run the production. This eliminates waste and also cuts down the packaging and carbon used in transportation. There are currently 0 cushion covers to be ordered before production can take place.
The cushion covers fit a standard cushion insert of 41 cm by 41 cm and are machine washable. Cushion insert not provided.

Simply stripes – grey / natural stripe with coconut/wood buttons
Earthy tones – brown slub, grey stripe and natural
Beat the Blues – blue natural stripe, blue flecked and navy blue slub
Grey and natural – 2 contrasting grey stripes with a square of natural
